One of London's most iconic and historic pubs! Established in 1763 and has been witness to many historical events linked with Bow Street Magistrates court, most notably the formation of the Bow Street Runners who are considered the first British police force. The pub was almost certainly frequented by them and has a cell in the basement that was used to house prisoners. The pub rebuilt in 1930 and currently offering to locals and tourists a great variety of low ABV tipples and mouthwatering British dishes.
